50th CANADIAN FIRE FIGHTERS CURLING ASSOCIATION MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY HYDRANT CHAMPIONSHIPS

The PEI Fire Fighters Curling Association is honoured to be hosting the 2009 Canadian Fire Fighters Muscular Dystrophy Hydrant Curling Championship in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island from March 27th to April 4th.

2009 will mark the 50th Anniversary of this event which was originally started by the late Aubrey Neff. We are confident that this event will attract many visitors to our fair Island.

Your Host Convenors are:

                        Winston Bryan – Charlottetown Fire Department, Station 1
                        Peter MacDonald – Cross Roads Fire Department

The curling will be held at the Charlottetown Curling Club which was also the host club when PEI last held this event in 1997.
 
The host hotel will be the RODD Charlottetown which is located in the heart of our beautiful city and just a short walk from the curling club.

We look forward to playing host to all of Canada and we hope to see you all here for the 50th Anniversary to help “Rock” this “Island” and become part of the “Dream”!
